Updates, updates, updates (finally)!

Thought we gave up? NO! After a long period of stagnation due to technical issues with our website structure and database (we have been up and running for over 10 years... web development has changed considerably in that time) we are ready to move forward again!  Along with several new articles in the hopper - see our newest below - we plan to revisit several of our previously published items to keep them up to date with additional or new research findings.  Stay tuned!

New articles;

Tunic Insignia Application Guide
An extensive examination of the most common ways breast eagles and collar tabs were applied to Heer tunics, with several helpful visuals to help you (or your tailor) get it right the first time.

How to Fold Litzen
A step-by-step guide on how to properly fold & press the so-called "collar tabs" in preparation for sewing.

The “Unit Impression”
A glimpse into our group's “unit impression” approach to reenacting and why it produces a far more in-depth and richer experience than the alternatives.

Der Erste Zug Photos
We are currently restructuring our site to include better ways of displaying large groups of photos.  While this is underway we are posting current event photos on our public Facebook page.  Please follow the link below to view our more recent event photos. You don't need an account to see our content there, so check it out!

Disclaimer: We are a non-political organization. Our group does not support, condone, or allow any activity which could bring discredit on its members or the soldiers we portray. NO NEO-NAZI NOR EXTREMIST ACTIVITY OF ANY KIND WILL BE ALLOWED NOR TOLERATED. We are military historians looking to preserve history.
